Terms of Service

1. About these Terms
These Terms govern your access to and use of Arit. By creating an account, accessing or using Arit, you agree to these Terms. If you use Arit for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
Arit is provided by GlobalMind AI Ltd (company number 16658452), trading as Noventir. Its registered office is 21 Hill Street, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales, SA61 1QQ. Noventir is the trading and brand name under which GlobalMind AI Ltd develops and provides Arit. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean GlobalMind AI Ltd.
You must be 18 or over to create or use an Arit account under these Terms. Arit is not currently offered for use by children or younger family members.
Arit is currently offered under these Terms to users in the United Kingdom and European Union. These Terms cover both individual consumers and business users.
2. What Arit is
Arit is a Personal Intelligence system that can help you work with projects, memory, notes, documents, connected services, AI capabilities and governed actions. Its features are evolving, and not every capability described on the Arit website will necessarily be available to every user or at all times.
We may add, change, suspend or remove features as Arit develops. We will not describe a future or limited feature as generally available where it is not.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate account information where we ask for it and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity that you authorise through your account, including approvals you give for connected actions.
Please tell us promptly at info@noventir.com if you suspect that someone has accessed your account without permission. Having an Arit account does not by itself mean that Noventir can see the private Personal Intelligence held within it; any access and handling depend on the product's technical controls, the service being provided and the applicable privacy information.
4. Connected services and permissions
At your direction, Arit may connect to third-party services such as Microsoft or Google. Those services remain subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability may depend on the relevant provider.
Arit is limited to the permissions and capabilities that you actually authorise. Connecting an account does not give Arit unrestricted access to that service.
For the initial Google connection, Arit requests only:
- openid and email, to identify you and support sign-in;
- gmail.send, to send a message only after Arit has prepared the content within Arit, shown you a preview and received the required governed approval; and
- calendar.events, to create and manage calendar events within the permissions granted by Google and Arit's own authority controls.
The Gmail permission does not allow Arit to read or search Gmail, inspect Gmail metadata, browse your mailbox, modify mailbox contents generally or access your full Gmail history. Arit does not create a Gmail draft under this permission; it prepares the proposed message within Arit and uses the send permission only after approval.
Calendar actions are not automatic or unrestricted. They remain subject to the permissions you grant and the applicable approval or authority controls in Arit.
5. AI models and generated output
Arit may use third-party AI models or services to help with reasoning or generation. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or wrong, so you should use appropriate judgement when relying on it. Arit's governance helps preserve context and authority, but it does not turn model output into guaranteed truth.
You should not rely on Arit as a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical or other regulated advice where professional judgement is required.
6. Governed actions
Arit may support actions through connected capabilities. Capability is not permission: certain actions require your explicit approval or another applicable authority before they can proceed.
You are responsible for reviewing consequential actions presented for your approval and for the approvals you give. Arit does not have unrestricted autonomous authority to act on your behalf.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Arit to:
- break the law or facilitate unlawful or deliberately harmful activity;
- access or attempt to access another person's account or data without permission;
- circumvent security, authority or usage controls;
- introduce malware, abusive automated traffic or other harmful code;
- interfere with Arit, its infrastructure or other users; or
- infringe another person's rights.
We may take proportionate steps to investigate or prevent misuse and to protect users, Arit and connected services.
8. Your information and content
You retain ownership of the information and content you provide to Arit. We do not claim ownership of your Personal Intelligence.
You give GlobalMind AI Ltd the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit and otherwise handle your content to provide and secure the Arit service in accordance with these Terms and the applicable privacy information. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to provide content and authorise its use in this way.
We do not think users should be deliberately locked into Arit. Where data-access or export capabilities are available, their scope and format will depend on Arit's current functionality, your account and applicable law. This does not promise that every type of accumulated information can currently be exported in every format.
9. Arit and Noventir intellectual property
GlobalMind AI Ltd and its licensors retain their rights in the Arit software, Noventir and Arit branding, design, service architecture, documentation and other intellectual property. These Terms give you a limited right to use Arit while the service is available to you; they do not transfer ownership of Arit or Noventir intellectual property.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how the personal data covered by that notice is collected, used and handled. We will provide additional privacy information where needed as hosted Arit services develop. These Terms do not replace applicable privacy information.
11. Third-party technology and services
Arit may rely on third-party hosting, identity providers, AI providers, Microsoft, Google, search and data services, and other infrastructure. A third party's outage, service change or decision may affect what Arit can provide. We are not responsible for third-party services themselves, although we remain responsible for our own obligations when selecting and using service providers.
12. Availability and changes to Arit
Arit is evolving. Maintenance, security work, technical problems or third-party outages may interrupt availability. We do not guarantee that Arit will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of Arit. Where a change materially affects an active paid service, we will provide any notice or remedy required by the terms presented with that service and by applicable law.
13. Subscriptions and payment
Arit is intended to become a paid subscription service, but final pricing is not yet fixed. Any applicable price, subscription period, renewal or cancellation terms, usage charges and taxes will be shown before you commit to a paid service. You will not be charged merely because these Terms refer to future paid access.
Additional subscription terms presented before purchase may apply to a paid plan. If they conflict with these Terms, the more specific subscription terms will apply to that plan to the extent of the conflict.
14. Service limitations
We provide Arit with reasonable care and skill. Subject to rights and guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, Arit is provided without a guarantee that every feature will meet every requirement, that generated content will be accurate, or that the service will be continuously available.
You remain responsible for deciding whether Arit's output and proposed actions are suitable for your circumstances, especially where a decision could have legal, financial, medical, safety or other significant consequences.
15. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory rights, including applicable consumer rights, are not affected.
If you use Arit as a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses arising from consumer use, or for events outside our reasonable control.
If you use Arit for business purposes, then, to the fullest extent permitted by law, GlobalMind AI Ltd will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, business opportunity or goodwill arising from business use of Arit. Any other limitation of liability will be subject to applicable law and to any additional commercial terms agreed for a paid business service.
16. Stopping use, suspension and termination
You may stop using Arit at any time. Any cancellation steps for a paid plan will be explained before you subscribe and in the relevant account or subscription information.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, unlawful use, a material security risk, a legal or regulatory requirement, or non-payment once paid services exist. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to address the issue.
After termination, personal data will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy, applicable law and the product's data-access or export capabilities available at that time. We do not set a new retention period in these Terms.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Arit develops or as legal, security or operational requirements change. We will communicate material changes appropriately. Where legally appropriate, continued use after the change takes effect and after applicable notice may mean that you accept the revised Terms. If the law requires a different form of consent, we will use it.
18. Governing law and courts
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protections and rights that apply to you under the law of the country in which you live, where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded by these Terms. You may bring proceedings in any courts available to you under those mandatory laws, including the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live where applicable.
If you use Arit for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or Arit.
